Life-size Gundam in Tokyo (pics)

Post by hashiriya1 »

I went go see the life-size Gundam model before they take it down next month.
I am not really a Gundam fan, but I had to see this. If they built an Evangelion,
I would be there with a quickness.

My girlfriend actually told me she wanted to see it. So we're headed to Odaiba sometime next week or early next month.

It's pretty darn cool and it even lights up at night.

Actually they figured out how much it would cost to make a functional one...

A couple other cool giant robots:
La Machine's giant spider called La Princesse. Look it up on youtube or Flickr - awesome!.
Royal de Luxe has put on some shows with a 42 ton robotic elephant and really tall marionettes.
