Good video games to play with mom?

I would also agree that Wii would be the best system to get mom to play video games. The majority of games are very simple, easy to get into..

Why not stick with puzzle games? Or if your mom has a sense of humor, maybe something like Zombies Ate My Neighbors?

I got a Gameboy when it first came out for Xmas, and my mom fell in love with Tetris. Enough so that I eventually got her her own Gameboy. Back then we used to have lengthy Vs. Battles. She loved it. Me too. She couldn't beat me though.

My mom and dad used to rip up some Tetris on the NES. Many times I watched the castle lift off into the sky. I don't think I ever got anything besides a tiny pitiful rocket lol.

believe it or not my mom rocked a link to the past back in the day.......now all she plays is the sims lol.

some bomberman might be ideal
super mario world (or any of the 2 player clasic mario games)

My mom didn't have an ounce of fun or joy in her body. You're pretty damn lucky to have one that actually offered to try out your hobby with you. It's almost like she's a parent or something.

my mom loves (but sucks at) shmups. She also likes nintendo games (like mario kart mario etc) hell I like animal crosing (played the hell out of it on gc NEED TO FIND more time for the wii version) played it alot with an aunt of mine. She was also a big sims fan (never got the sims though I try but cant)

My moms favorite games are Jet Force Gemeni,Perfect Dark, Zelda OOt,halo2,and resident evil 4 .She like anything i like pretty much, even stuff like gears of war. She may suck at the games,but she still plays them becuase she has fun.
