Preach it! The main reason I head to RB is because it's _not_ SRK "my-game-is-better-than-your-game" banter.

Of course replying to this shit just makes it worse, fanning the fire. The thread title is "Evo 2k9..." let's keep it to that, eh?

I'd like to give a shout out to all the returning NC folks at Evo, especially Roski, Jibbo and Nick, all winning their squads. Jibbos' Gen got made props.

Holy crap that event was fun.

I went 1-2 at SF4 and out in pools. Zangief just kicks my ass as Rog still.

2-2 at HDR which I didn't even practice before the event. Oh yeah I was in pool 5 and my second loss was too....Daigo of all people. He destroyed me with Guile although I did take one round in the first set. I'll take it!

But really its all about finals. Mogzus can say and think whatever he wants, the fighting scene supports SF4 and their opinion is the one that matters to me.

Jeff Gurstman said it best in the recent bombcast. High Level Street Fighter play is nothing but a series of actions and reactions, and just isn't fun to watch. You cant hope to enjoy the game when played so mathematically. You have to play it be feel.

lol. Sounds like pretty much any game that is played competitively

I had no idea though that they actually held a big tournament. Do they still play Super Turbo or any of the old games?? Where can we find footage?
Don't ask me about the price ;)

They pushed the IGN $15 insider membership during the free stream to watch all the recorded matches later. I think there will be no DVD.
