Same here! All I can grow is a mustache and a little bit of chin hair. My sideburns rarely grow. But if I could grow in a full beard, I would as well.

My beard comes and goes at fancy. Ive found that 1 out of 10 women hate it, 8 out of 10 are indifferent, and 1 out of 10 really dig it. My last girlfriend hated it, so it was shaved, but now it is back. Not in its five inch glory it was last year around this time (the bottom part curls back so it does not look that long unless wet or straightened). And I doubt I will ever grow it out that long again, unless I am walking around the world or something.

Depends on the hair type. If it's soft and fluffy, sure. If it's sticks out like copper wires and rubs like gritty sandpaper....no.

I shave every other day. Everytime I grow facial hair, my skin gets very agitated and dry. Its weird, never used to happen but last few years my face has become sensitive to hair.

Then I went for a week without shaving and my beard came in full so I decided to style it like Gendo Ikari from Evangelion and it really worked well. So I've had the same chinstrap beard for about 4 years now. Even my girlfriend digs it.
Please tell me you've at least got some orange glasses to wear from time to time.
I never found any orange tinted glasses but I have clear and tinted glasses that look similar to his glasses. I think it would be best just to post a cosplay picture of myself wearing my beard a few years back. It's basically the same anyway.

I have been trying to thin out my beard a bit and make it more angular and streamlined to my jawbone. I used to grow it a little under my chin and jaw line but it just felt blotchy and made my face look rounder than it really was. I think the current shave I have gives me the look I want.

This is me as Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist in 2007. You can't see much of the beard there though..

I was just always damn lazy and never could be bothered to shave, now i've got used to having a beard for the past 5 years or so (plus, it goes with my long hair ;)) - I trim it whenever the boss starts calling me Grizzly or asking when I converted to Islam

I feel you there. About once every 8 months, I just remove the goatee completely, then see thjat I still have a baby face underneath it, so I grow it back. I had about a 5 inch one, I let my girlfriend cut it off (this was about 2 years ago) before I shaved the rest of my face. I think it still lives somewhere in the creek behind her house.
