Like Niode said, it doesn't get you past the 1.4 gb partition, but as long as all the games you want fit in 1.4 gb you're good.coel009 wrote:Im afraid this only works on WII.Niode wrote:You can shrink the games. Some games are less than 1.4GB like Luigis Mansion so you can just remove the filler and fit the games on. You can still burn them to DVD-R.
I've tried in the past to load a multi-boot game disk on my GC(with dvd5 top cover installed) and GCOS
couldn't list games that were after the 1.4gb partition.
Haven't tried it on my wii yet though...
Multiple games, 1 disk?

Re: Multiple games, 1 disk?
I thought it would be obvious that GC couldn't read past the 1.4GB mark. Just because you put a custom case on it doesn't magically make it read a full DVD-R. I just suggest DVD-Rs because you could use them on both the Wii and the GC at once. The same GCOS Isos will work on both. It just means that if you put more than 1.4GB you can only use it on the Wii for obvious reasons.
Of course you can always use mini DVD-Rs but they're getting quite expensive to acquire these days since most video cameras have moved to solid state or hard disk recording rather than optical medium. There's not much of a use for them. I can buy a 100 pack of DVD-Rs for the same price as 25 mini DVD-Rs. It's just not worth it for me.

I know how obvious it is. Your last post sounded like you believed otherwise.Niode wrote:I thought it would be obvious that GC couldn't read past the 1.4GB mark.
Re: Multiple games, 1 disk?
Yeah, re-reading it I guess you could get that conclusion from it, but I know what I meant.
I don't do many GC and Wii compatible multidiscs since I don't really play my GC anymore. Not since softmodding my Wii. I still use my old multidiscs from the GC on my Wii though. I think that's what I was implying.

Re: Multiple games, 1 disk?
yeah you can do it but you have to be pretty leet
my friend gave me this dreamcast cd-r that had marvel vs capcom 2, capcom vs snk2, and street fighter 3 on 1 disc and it had a custom interface and stuff...you just have to search for the right isos that people made already like that one
