how much will you accept for the white sega saturn?

nice collection, congratz
The big black thing behind the Neo Geo is a Neo Geo. :P It's a front-loading Neo Geo CD. Only 25,000 were made. It's probably considered uncommon in Japan. I've come across 3 or 4 in the last year.

The one in front of the 3DO is the PC Engine Duo. It's the same as the Turboduo (Turbographx-16 CD combo system) in America.

White Saturn? How much are you willing to pay? :P

One of the best parts is that this was all done on a budget. Other than the Wii (25,000yen) and PS3 (a small mortgage), the consoles all cost between $3 and $70 (300yen-7000yen). 8)

Way to go. Game on a budget. Stretch that dollar (or yen).

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing. It's interesting to see how different all the machines' casing used to be from territory to territory.

I'd love to have a Trinitron for my older consoles.

It's amazing, really. The biggest difference has got to be between the Turbographx-16 and the PC Engine, or the NES and Famicom.

Another Japan racketBoy member. Cool!

Nice set of systems you got there. That Sony HD CRT must have been a pain in the butt to get home. Unless the used store or wherever you bought it from had a delivery service you could take advantage of.

Living in the countryside, I've been blessed with my own car so I can get most of my big crap on my own.

I need to head down to Tokyo sometime over the summer. I haven't been there for pleasure for nearly a year now. Last time I went was to take a level 2 Japanese test at Todai (not fun.)

Oh man, I have a bit of a story. I bought it off a friend who was moving so I just paid for a delivery service. It shouldn't have been a problem, but the idiots delivering it thought it would be a good idea to plug it in and test it before asking me if it was okay. Where'd they plug it in? Right into the power bar attached to my 220V step-up (or is it down?) power transformer. You could hear the "pop" and smell the burning. I was rightfully pissed off. Luckily, my Japanese girlfriend at the time (now my wife) was there to tell them what happened. They had to reload the TV onto their truck, ship it to Sony for repairs, and return it all on their bill. I had to wait 3 weeks. It's been working fine for 3 years now.

I can't imagine it would be fun! I haven't braved the level 2 yet and don't know if I'll bother, but kudos to you for doing it!
