Here here! I only wish I'd see another Street Fighter game (2D) before I die.

Is it? this news has been out for months. It also includes a directors cut of SotN in wide screen and better VAs and apparently areas added(like the Saturn version).

Next week those of you with 360 XBLA will have to tell us how the port stands up.

Which port is coming to XBLA? Rondo of blood? or Nocturne?

If it is Rondo, I will let you know the minute it is released.

[EDIT]
eh... it is Nocturne... Still a good game, but I own the Saturn version so whateva. Maybe I'll try it out (Nocturne isn't getting a graphical upgrade, only Rondo).

So I just downloaded Nocturne/SotN for the XBOX live.

The graphics are cleaned up a little and smoothed out around the edges (you can choose in the options to display them like the original).
The game is played in a smaller box then the TV screen sitting on top of a blackwhite background image of Alucard. (in the options you can change the size of the window)
The controlls are identical to the Playstation controller layout (except start brings up the Arcade menu, annoying because I'm constantly hitting it trying to pull up the equipment menu... that is select which feels weird on the 360 controller)
I only played the the alchemy lab and killed those two demons that fly around and the game is basically identical (that is only 10 or 15 minutes of gameplay for those who never played).

Next week my friend is gonna come over and we are going to beat the game top to bottom (200%) and find out what areas of the castle they changed.

Cool -- I'll be doing a blog post about it once the Wordpress upgrade is done.
