Games Radar always seems to have nice high quality articles like this which is nice as they're becoming rarer on other more mainstream sites like IGN and Kotaku.

Interesting article, thanks for the link.

He's right that there have been countless games that have been genre changingly innovative but yet people still wont recognise games as a serious medium even though in terms of popularity they are up there with film and music.
