My grandma only had crash bandicoot and then a big demo disc with her playstation. We played the hell out of the demo disc too. Even the barbie adventure portion...

I Love PS1 demo discs, it's how I discovered Omega Boost, and where I got my first crack at Ridge Racer Type 4.

Honestly, the fact that OPM (US) doesn't do demo discs anymore is the biggest reason that I'm not buying their magazine anymore. It's just like with NewType USA - they cut out the 'demo' discs that they used to carry to cut costs and then a whole bunch of readers dropped their subs.

At least NewType USA was a high-quality magazine, OPM isn't anything special at all, and the only reason I ever bought it was the demo disc. Otherwise, I would have just stuck with PSM.

It's even more a slap in the face that the UK OPM does still do demo discs. Hell, there was even a promo going on where signing up for a UK OPM subscription could get you a free Greatest Hits title. That's how you sell some freakin' magazines.
