Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What (or when ) was the commercial with the line, "Tuck and roll, Grandma! Tuck and roll!" He was trying to hurry to get new games and didn't want to drive his Grandma somewhere...

Oh man! I remember what you're talking about, but I can't remember what it was for.

Edit: Found it:

Does any one know why do they make commercial stupid and cheesey?
Like what is the CEO thinking with that Saturn-ear-speaking commercial? Does it really sell?

the sonic & knuckles commercial was really good. Am I the only one who finds it extra amazing that you can play knuckles in older sonic game given this is cartridge console?

Like I said. I saw the Saturn ear commercial and knew it was going to tank. With that kind of corporate guidance it was clear that Sega had no clue what the fuck they were doing.

In terms of S&K, if I were going to make it work with Sonic 2 what I would do is have my S&K cartridge read the map and enemy data from the Sonic 2 cart and then I would run Knuckles through it using my engine (which really was the same as the Sonic 2 engine). Assuming the didn't do anything too boneheaded with the way data was organized on the Sonic 2 cart it would be relatively simple to pull off.
