Did anyone ever want to go to Hotels like La Quinta just because some of the rooms had a Gaming system wired into the Tv that you could order to play a couple of hours of your favorite games for a small fee?
I remember playing the SNES and N64 at some of the La Quinta locations, as my family traveled quite often, I always wanted to stay at those Hotels for that sole reason.
Also, Does anyone know how these things worked? Were they a type of Emulator?
Awesome Hotel Games.

When I was a kid, I only wanted to use Japan Airlines because they had Mega Drives built into each 1st-class seat. My parents preferred All Nippon Airways (ANA), but I told em unless they wanted to entertain me for 12 hours, they better get JAL. They were the same price, but ANA had better food according to them. Once my Gameboy and Atari Lynx died, it was Mega Drive for the rest of the trip.
Anyhoo, just thought I would mention that in a thread that seems to be sort of the same subject.

A built in Mega Drive sure beats the hell out of the broken and overpriced junk Virgin Airlines put in the back of their seats!

I always just bring my own console.

I hate hotel televisions. Very few hotel televisions have rca inputs, but they usually have an N64 hooked up to it to play for a ridiculous fee (I've never seen a hotel charge just a few dollars). If I'm an extended business trip and want to play a console, I usually need to bring an RF converter, that is if I can remove the security panel that is usually screwed onto the tv.

I stayed in a hotel once in my life, and it had an expensive N64 controller, but I already played the hell out of every game in it, and didn't want to pay to play for games I already owned. So I just slept.
