Have You Ever Contemplated Selling Your Collection?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Keep what you really like. Also consider that Xbox arcade is not going to be around in 4 years because your console will be dead and Microsoft is not going to give your games back to you.
Looking for a cool game? Find it in my blog!

I'm waiting for the XBOX 360 hardware revision

Actually, I am thinking of selling everything I have related to video games. I guess I am in a gaming rut.

Unless you need the cash to live/pay bills, if you do sell them do it with another goal in mind - e.g. to raise funds to take a cool trip, to buy an ATV, to invest in stock, etc. - if you sell them and piss the $$ away (or just put the money in your bank account) you'll probably regret the sale even more.

I usually sell stuff that I have duplicates of in some form or simply don't play (e.g. I am currently selling some Genesis carts that I now have copies of on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3 and some demo discs that I won't ever play). Of course I almost always put that money back into one of my hobbies - but I begrudge the sales where I end up spending the money on groceries, clothes, dinner out, etc.

You can, but you will probably regret it later.
