i've seen some brilliant stages online, with very diverse gameplay mechanics, and I even made a platforming stage of my own

Little Big Planet
anyone in the forums plays this gem for the ps3? for a huge platform fan like me it was a godsend. it's the main reason I bought a ps3. the single player game, itself is worth full price, but if you add the awesome editor, and the unlimited online stages, this game is the greatest ever.

Re: Little Big Planet
I play it. I've been busy with other games and haven't gotten around to making any levels yet, but my goal is to create one eventually.
Re: Little Big Planet
I play and love it but don't make time to create levels. I play a lot of the 5 star levels online though. I would recommend it to everyone.

I spent a few hours playing a friends copy, and while it was pretty cool I found that walking in z-plane was pretty annoying as sackboy insists on looking at you and jumping backwards and forwards rather than just fucking walking to where I wanted him to be. That was a deal breaker for me.

you get used to it after a while, and don't make that mistake.
also a lot of 3 and 4 star online levels are really good and worth to play.
and it took me only about 10 hours to make my first stage, and it's pretty big
EDIT
for those who care to try it out the stage is called "Super Platformer World part 1 : the 3 keys", username quaro1987

I love this game! One of the reasons I bought the PS3. I have played many stages online, and some of them are very cool. I often played the game with 3 friends, cause it's a really good multiplayer In my opinion.
Re: Little Big Planet
I played through the entire story and many community levels and the annoying z-plane still bothers me. I still really like this game though. The frustrating z-axis movement is the only thing keeping it from being one of my favorites.ZeroAX wrote:you get used to it after a while, and don't make that mistake.Curlypaul wrote:I spent a few hours playing a friends copy, and while it was pretty cool I found that walking in z-plane was pretty annoying as sackboy insists on looking at you and jumping backwards and forwards rather than just fucking walking to where I wanted him to be.
