Pretty good retro web game Don't Look Back

Something you guys might not know is that the game is based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice (which also explains the good music the game has).

When Orpheus' wife, Eurydice, dies, Orpheus travels to the underworld and, through the beauty of his music, convinces Hades to let her come back to the upperworld. But Hades sets one condition upon which she might go back to life: Orpheus has walk in front of her until they both reach the surface and never look back. Anxious, Orpheus, upon reaching the surface, immediately looked back to her, who was just a step behind him and hadn't left the upperworld just yet. She then vanishes forever.

I knew what the game was based on, which is why I like the twist at the end.

Her gasping sound is actually chilling and while it was described as minimalist the game did really well representing the dark, cavernous Hades.

I really enjoyed this game myself.

I have to say it could have done with greater detail. I only realized the guy was going to Hades rather late (well after defeating "Cerberus" - didn't realize due to the lack of detail). I just assumed he was getting revenge at first, until the jumping "demons" showed up.

After realizing, I thought it was rather clever to have that snake really close to the start (before you get the gun, even).
