columbia, sc anyone?

Post by ubelaffe »

Hey guys, I'm in a huge financial fix right now, as I'm about to get married...

I'm selling all my stuff, but I'm too busy and spread out to ship, so if anyone is in Columbia, SC, check out my craigslist posts. I've been here for a while and I've traded/sold a few things here and there.

I'm getting rid of my nintendo nes, virtual boy, gamecube, sega game gear and my dreamcast accessories. Anyone local, please help out and snag some deals. I'm negotiable on almost everything.

Also, I realize this might be better suited to the b/s/t forum, but I'm in a real pinch and hope that this forum, being more active, might reach more people...

If I've still got it, I could definitely meet you.

I know 1 of the nashi folks, still, I think...try to keep my distance...

The virtual boy and gamegears are the only things that I have left. Got rid of the gamegear games too...

They came to Momocon and later asked us to give panels at Nashicon, its cool. Campus is GORGEOUS - note why we are doing a photoshoot. However my Rise and Fall of the Coin Arcade panel had four attendees and my Retrogaming panel had one. Next year we will be doing things alittle differently.

But I can understand your distance. Anime clubs nowadays are not like the ones I use to be in. Sad to, the last one I went to the people there did not know what Record of Lodoss War was.

Thats like the anime version of Lord of the Rings... only BETTER!!!!

Anime clubs today are just "hey, this was on adult swim and animonday, its cool, lets talk about that FOREVER till the newest thing comes out".

Yeah, I've gotten a few asshatted responses from "Die Hard" Anime fans as well like:

"WTF is a VHS?"

"Screw the story, let's see some action."

"Lupin The who?"

"This Ghost In The Shell thing sucks."

"Where's all the yaoi?"

"You mean this is from the 80's/90's/Last Year?....Lame."

"Screw this, the plot's too important."

"Why read the manga when they made an Anime?"

"Wait, Street Fighter had an Anime? That's retarded, everybody knows Street Fighter has no story."

Along with several other responses that never cease to infuriate me.
