Quest for Glory

Post by arion »

Since i´m spending most of my free time these days playing old dos games there is one series im really glad i revisited The quest for glory series from sierra. And i must say blending rpg elements with point and click adventuring is genius and it´s a shame the series ended after only 5 games. Currently im playing Quest for glory 2 trial by fire because i intend to go through all five of them with the same character :D

Has anyone else here tried or already finished all five of the qfg games with the same character ?

QfG were amazing!
I have a couple of the orig boxed games still, I never owned em all, so I never got to take a character all the way thru.

I also really enjoyed the Kings Quest games and took a char from 3 to 4 to 5 I think, been years tho

shame vivendi/serria didn't re-release the Quest for Glory games like they did Kings Quest series, Space Quest series, Police Quest series, and Leisure Suit Larry series recently on CD for $20 each.

its pretty funny, vivendi made the games "windows XP" compatable by shipping the game with an old copy of dosbox on the disc with the old roms heh.
