Re: few collectors starter questions
For the games I care about collecting I make sure they have all of the advertisements and all that (mostly the Pokemon GBA games that I have absolutely complete, 2 of them still have the seal on them and have only been slit to allow the cartridge to be removed and played). For any Wii game I buy now I make sure it has all of the inserts and advertisements that it would have it bought new. No sense in not getting things complete and perfect while a system is still current, it will only be harder later.

Truth be told, for cartridges I generally don't care. Cart only is easier to store, especially when it's Nintendo, since their boxes generally are pretty poor, though Sega's boxes are much more durable. With disc-based games, it's a little different. Those I try harder to find manuals, and cases are preferable because they can protect the CD or DVD or whatever.

I hafta quote you when referring to Sega CD/Sega Saturn Games. For me, a case/instructions are almost a MUST for these two systems. Then again, if its local and a case isn't present, but it is a good deal, I generally wont pass up on it.
Got: Atari 2600, Atari 7800Pro, Commodore 64, Odyssey 2, Sega Master System, NES, Genesis Models 1-3, Nomad, Game Gear, Sega CD Model 1, Sega 32x, SuperNES, GameBoys, GameBoy Pocket, GBC, Sega Saturn Model 2, GBA, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2 Slim, Nintendo DS Lite, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS3 Slim

Thank god I prefer snes and nes games without boxes, cib is too expensive of a hobby for systems with paper boxes.
I do go for the boxes on n64 games, but only because it's a lot cheaper, and the cartridges are unreadable from the top or side. And I kept all my n64 boxes too. I never actually bought a new snes in all my years of owning it. Except the donkey kong pack-in that didn't come with a box. . .
