Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I dunno why but they never appealed to me when they came out but I had a few bucks spare so for around £140 I got a new white DS lite, New Super Marion Bros, Tetris DX and Project Rub and it's grrrreat. Really loving it ... not that I get to play it much cos since I brought it home my girlfriend has kidnapped it :(

Can you recommend me some good games? I like quirky stuff really. Hotel Dusk looks interesting so that next ... anything else I should be checking?

I really enjoy Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Basically it's a surgury 'simulator' where you use the stylus as the various tools. It's fairly offbeat and definitely unique. Wario Ware, Elite Beat Agents, and Animal Crossing are all worth checking into as well.

I have Brain Age, Meteos, Metroid Prime Pinball, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
I love them all, but PW:AA gets a little slow after a while.

If you are up for importing and like rhythm games, Osu Tatake Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents are my two favorite DS games, being released in Japan and the US respectively. EBA might be released in Europe. Ouendan won't be.

WarioWare: Touched IMO isn't as good as the other Warioware games, but it's still fun. Hotel Dusk - Room 215 looks like it could be great, too. Kind of an old-school point and click adventure game.

But again, I don't know what's out in (E) and what's not.

Osu Tatake Ouendan looks like fun. Do Jap games play on a UK DS?

Cheers RB, Meteos and Metroid Prime Pinball looks great. Both added to my list.

Yes, the DS is region-free. And Ouendan is pretty easy to navigate if you don't know Japanese too.
