You should definitely get some carpet in there, if you weren't already planning on it.

Definitely planning on that. Before I moved in, I thought that it was a vinyl floor. Nope. Nice stone tiles. Very cold on the feet in the winter.

Leave the tile. Cold feet builds character.

Such a small room would be an even better justification for an old, tiny Amiga monitor and going RGB with all your old consoles. Hard to find any RGB monitors over 14" or 15" anyway.

I have begun moving all my crap in. It will hopefully look nice when I am done. I will be getting at least one more bookcase and an area rug when I get paid again.

And one of some of the crap that has to go in there:

Finally decided to update the pictures of my game room. Although lately I have been using it more to do my college homework than to play games.

Image

Everything is a bit of a mess, so there isn't the most organization here. All my US Saturn games, my PSP, SCD, NDS and GBA, as well as some of my PS2 stuff. The top drawer is full of loose carts, GEN, SNES, GBA, etc. The bottom drawer is full of loose SFC carts.

Image

More misc junk, but mainly my boxed Genesis stuff, larger boxed stuff, books and camera stuff.

Image

The very ugly desk with the 19" LCD TV/monitor that I use for my gaming and computing. Right now I have only my PS3 hooked up, but I can easily attach either my Saturn or my X'Eye. I also have most of my PS1 and Japanese Saturn games stored here.

Image

This is the system storage corner. In the stereo rack is my GCN, US Saturn, Laseractive, X'Eye, and some other stuff. On top is the receiver that I someday hope to hook my systems up to and a toy grade projector that I bought to play around with. In the display case are my collectibles such as the Lunar promo puppets, Lunar polo shirt, Goemon figure and a couple of little figures from Dragon Quest VIII and one of the Final Fantasys. Of course I stuck my copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga in there just so that I don't accidentally destroy it. Someday I hope to actually finish cleaning it.

I have got to stop looking at pictures of other people's collections, it just makes me jealous.
