Going to Florida, need advise from you guys.....

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'd hit up the play n trade site and see if there's anything on your route. I'm not sure I'd drive more than 30 minutes off 75. . or whatever you're taking.

The goodwill prices are usually very good. most games are $1-$5, sometimes you'll find the Zelda and Mario games going for a few dollars more. They put out stuff 3 times a week, so be sure to stop by on the way back as well.

The goodwills around here have been pushing up there prices for some reason. It seems to defeat the purpose. The other day they had a PS1 for 15 bucks, you can go down the road to the used game store and get one for ten with a 30 day garuntee. They have been doing this to a ton of stuff. Most of it just sits on the shelf but sometimes people buy the stuff for more than "regular" stores charge.

Awesome, which one? I am in a few regularly. The Sandusky one almost every weekend. I hit Elyria, Lakewood and North Olmsted from time to time.

Same here in Canada. I noticed over the last few months everything gaming related has gone up almost double in price, which totally defeats the purpose in my opinion. The last time I saw a sega genesis for 20 dollars with no cords, av cables, controllers or games with a sticker saying "no exchange/return" and no guarantee that it even worked. That's when I stopped shopping there.

Depends, will you take 75 up? I would assume so. There is a new Play-N-Trade about 5 minutes from I 75 in Chattanooga but be sure to have a GPS or directions to and from because it's on a long 1 way road that will mess with you!

If you are going on Fri, Sat or Sun there is an Indoor Flea Market in East Ridge TN (bordering Chattanooga) that has a large game store inside it. Good selection and average prices.

There's another one (Game Source) that's in Fort Oglethorpe GA (right before the state line) but it's about 15 minutes off the Interstate on Battlefield Parkway and I've not been there in several months. Also, for fun, try to say oglethorpe, I dare you!

If you can't tell I'm around Chattanooga, let me know if you're interested in any of them and I'd be glad to give you some extra directions!

There were a few in Knoxville, TN I knew of but I think they went out of business recently, found that out sadly when i went to see my wife's family up there. There is a small shop in Knoxville I still know of (Revolution Video Games) but it's about 25 minutes off the Interstate and is just normal retro fare (NES, SNES, Gen, DC) so probably not worth the hassle but has some great deals.

Well, first of all...sorry you have to come to Florida. Secondly, if you come through the Tallahassee area Games4Less is about the only game in town with retro stuff. The prices aren't all that great though.

Some bad or good news, depending on your perspective

S & F videogames is closing down, so they are trying to sell out their entire stock. Now's the time to try to get some bargins.
