Oh, okay! Haha, sorry, it's hard to pick up sarcasm through text sometimes, especially with so many morons on the 'net! I mean, there are people who call Phantasy Star Universe one of their favorite games, despite it being a complete let-down for almost everyone who reviewed it.

Well, I'd for one would like to see Sega and Nintendo create a new IP, utilizing the creative minds of Sega, and the perfectionist/mastermind side of Nintendo (Miyamoto essentially).
As at least on earlier poster has stated, imagine if Nintendo did create such wonderful properties as Seaman or Jetset? Not only would Nintendo have a heck a lot more IPs in there roster, and knowing the nature of Nintendo, these series could really develop past a single memorable game.
On top of that, currently Nintendo has 65-cubic-acre money bin under there noses, so I imagine they could afford to adopt a series like crazy taxi etc, and market them properly for both the DS and the Wii.
To think if the Saturn and Dreamcast were bigger hits, and Sega was still in the hardware biz! However, just to spite my previous statement, I think Sega's biggest problems lied deep within the company itself. Sega has made many poor decisions in the past which point towards general incompetence (from poor marketing, deciding to add a last minute processor to the Saturn, and just the poor communications between Sega America and Sega Japan), which proves Sega should be in the software business.
Now that I think about, I bet Sega has a lot of potential money under it's belt: I'm sure many companies would jump for the chance to purchase a franchise like Crazy Taxi, if Sega ever decided to sell.
Ultimately, I think we can all agree that it would be really cool if Nintendo decided to buy an IP from Sega, for it could very well finally receive the deserved attention!

Good note, I was too ready trying to scroll down the page so I could leave a comment without reading your original intention, sorry about that! I totally agree with the way sega has so gracefully beared the name "SEGA." They have lost so much between the mid 90's to the break of the millenium. I think they had a little to much confidence with the whole sonic shebang. They wore that helpless mascot out before they knew it was coming. Then it was the simple cutting of the final string to the innocent dreamcast when the sony machine stormed in. But speaking of collaberations.....mhmmm.... what about the atmosphere of jet grind radio with the open non-linear action rpg elements of zelda? eh???Original_Name wrote:Which is why I said Nintendo/Dreamcast-era Sega in the original post.everydayJOE wrote:No. I don't want that failure company working with a still somewhat good company like nintendo. They're collaberation would bring a heaping pile of fresh douche. Sega has just lost it. I'm still awaiting galaxy 2, the next zelda, and another starfox which probably won't happen for awhile. Actually I kind of prefer the style of starfox adventures to the flying ones, but that is not the point. I don't want sega even reletiveley close to
nintendo. Note how in even a paragraph I spaced it out far enough.![]()
(PS! Don't even call that shitty company Sega! They're just the atrocious Sammy Corporation calling themselves Sega now. I think they have like, 15-20% (if that) of their old personnel who gave Sega a good name in the 80's, 90's, and very early 2000's. It's an entirely different company now, which is why the descent in quality has been so drastic.)

What I'd like to see is Nintendo bring along Camelot, they give Sega a cut of the profits to get the Shining Force license, and let's see Shining Force 4.

Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games.
Sorry, I'll hit myself on that one.
