Good DFW gaming shops?
Good DFW gaming shops?
I started looking at some of the stores in my area that sell classic games with a friend a few weeks ago. So far all we have found are CGX, Movie Trading Company, and Play n Trade. Does anyone know of some other stores we should look into?

really that's about all that i've found myself. i never buy anything from cgx though because their prices are astronomical. oh, also sometimes a random half-price books will have a few older games worth picking up. by the way, whereabouts in dfw are you?

Take the short trip to Austin and visit Game Over, Game Fellas, etc. You won't be sorry.

I live in north Dallas. I've been browsing shops around my house and in Plano. I don't buy anything from CGX anymore now that i've found Movie Trading Company and Play n Trade. Would you believe the Frisco location wanted $10 for Shaq Fu?reagan wrote:really that's about all that i've found myself. i never buy anything from cgx though because their prices are astronomical. oh, also sometimes a random half-price books will have a few older games worth picking up. by the way, whereabouts in dfw are you?
Not to mention their terrible customer service. One guy who did nothing but tapped on his net book actually asked me if I was going to buy anything.
Another laugh is their valuable games case. They have the copy of Metal Gear Solid from the Essentials collection by itself for the price of the entire collection new! They also seem to think that the first GTA is a holy grail, while Play n Trade has it sitting in a basket on the floor.

Took me a while to figure out what DFW stood for.
Obviously, I'm not from Texas

The only reason I know is we have a building out there, and we name our sites after the closest international airport.racketboy wrote:Took me a while to figure out what DFW stood for.
