Neverwinter Nights - module recommendations wanted
Neverwinter Nights - module recommendations wanted
OK, so I'm finally catching up on PC RPGs and I bought Neverwinter Nights Diamond (for $13, yowzers!). I'm sure it'll be a little while before I'm done with the main campaign and all the expansions that came with it, but do any of you have any recommendations concerning fan-made modules that rock? I'm sure there have to be some awesome ones out there.

I really wish I could get into this game. That diamond package sounds like it's absolutely overflowing with content, and I appreciate that era of visuals, but I just can't seem to enjoy D&D RPGs. KOTOR is the one exception.

NWN2 or the originals? I have all of the neverwinter nights 2 games but have only finished the original. One of them I flat out hate (believe its the second expansion) anyway they are fun games love any D&D stuff
sorry no module recommendations btu I'm interested in some as well

Seeing as how the Gold Box games are what got me into tabletop D&D, I guess I'd have to admit that I like D&D-based PC RPGs, although the real-time combat part of NWN can get a little frustrating at times.
I just discovered that the NWN Vault at IGN has a review section and a protocol for selecting high-class mods, so it sounds like I'll have a lot to keep me busy. Even found a remake of the classic Pools of Radiance.

I think that, much like Baldur's Gate "real time", you can pause NWN whenever you want and issue orders to your party members if you want to play "turn based".marurun wrote:Seeing as how the Gold Box games are what got me into tabletop D&D, I guess I'd have to admit that I like D&D-based PC RPGs, although the real-time combat part of NWN can get a little frustrating at times.
I should try playing NWN again - when I wanted to play it it crashed all the time on my laptop. It will probably run without issues on my desktop.

I would like to get back into NWN. I used to play on a PW, Narfell, but I never even played the solo game. I might just have to pick up a new copy. Im no help, sorry.
