I was going to put him on the control panel, but I replaced him with Venom. He is way cooler than Spiderman anyway.

:o Blasphemy! Well, maybe just a little bit cooler, but there's no beating Symbiote Spidey.

...Are you at least going to have Spidey somewhere on the cabinet?

I'll put him on the side art, when I get more money probably when its almost finished.

Thanks,I want it to be unique as possible, not something you can just go out and buy.The rest of the project is cheap compared to the control panel.I have to buy the encoder, joysticks, and artwork which probably over $150 just for that.I ordered 13 happ buttons last week so I should come in pretty soon. The computer I'm going to get is going to be powerful because I want to play a lot emulators on it,I want to play SF4 since it just came out,and I'm probably going to listen to music on it as well.I'm going to use the Mala frontend since it looks easy to use and simple to install.

List of stuff I got so far:
25" RCA TV
8" marquee light(kitchen light)
1 Sanwa JLW arcade stick
3 Happ buttons
2 10" subwoofers
2 6x9 Acura factory speakers(sister's)
marquee retainers
marquee artwork
monitor glass
bezel from Happ
13 black Happ buttons (ordered, but waiting...)
front mounted sound controls
5 holes drilled holes in the rear(for the 2 fans I'm going to get)

what I still need to get:
keywiz encoder
wires for control panel
Sanwa JLW arcade stick
2 orange "bubbletop" ball tops
custom control panel artwork (will match ball tops)
Smartstrip power strip
coin door
computer

computer specs:
ADM Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 5000+(2.6 GHz)
375 watt power supply
1 GB memory
200 GB hard drive
16x dvd rom drive
ATI Radeon HD 2400 512mb(s-video output) graphics card
6-channel audio sound card
Windows XP

how are you hooking up the tv to the computer?

Interested cause you can certaintly find a old tv a lot cheaper than an arcade monitor.

Looks very good.

Can't you distribute the lights more evenly behind the marquee? I'm just nitpicking, sure, because the work is great, but I think it would look better.

Edit: are you going to put some pictures on the side of the cab?

King, I am going to guess he is using the svideo out of his graphics card. If the tv doesnt have an Svideo input for about $5 you can get an svideo to rca adapter.

Are you worried about the sub's damaging the HD and/or rattling things loose? I built custom arcade from an old "Gauntlet Legends" cab and had a small boxed sub in the base, with no issues. Your cab looks great! I'm looking to build my next one from scratch too.

The bass should be nice with the subs but what about mids and highs? Also on the PC side are you going to do a custom vent hood with larger fans out the back or something? A PC in a box like that is going to get hot holes might or might not cover it. There are very quiet larger fans you can get from newegg.com that would take care of that if you vented it right.
