I have two justifiers (blue and pink, 1st and 2nd player),but I can't get them to work. I hooked up my Genesis to my brothers little CRT,but the guns will not shoot, and the start buttons won't work... I have never tried to use these before, so I don't know if there's anything I need besides the justifier to be plugged in, or what. If it helps, the game I'm attempting to play is Lethal Enforcers.
Thanks!
~Isaac

Try boosting the brightness to max or close to it. That's what made my justifier on the snes. If you have a dark Brightness (haha dark brightness... anyways...) it won't register at all. and if its closer to middle you might get a few shots every 1000 shots. It should work. Otherwise just fiddle with the settings until it does.

Re: Genesis-Justifier help
I just had this set up the other day, as i was testing a set of justifiers for sale on ebay.
I had the same problem. Try plugging a regular controller into input 1, and the justifiers into input 2. That should work. Let me know!

Troubleshooting:
Did you already check if anyone has modded them to have a microphone instead of the photo-diode?
(Just kidding. If you don't get the reference, look up "Keith Apicary at E3").

I have a few blue ones with the same problem. Gonna dig them out and try the brightness thing I guess.
Don't ask me about the price

Re: Genesis-Justifier help
I talked to the person who's trying to trade for my 2nd player one. He said to turn the brightness and contras all the way up, as well as have the Justifier plugged in to the second player port.

Re: Genesis-Justifier help
How small is the set, and How old is it?
Lightguns don't typically register any images on the screen if the screen is under 20'', or if it is in a very bright room which distorts the contrast and brightness of the set.

Re: Genesis-Justifier help
It was a fairly small set, but I cranked up the contrast and brightness and that did the trick. A big thank you to everybody who helped me with this, I appreciate it.

Be sure to lowr your brightness and contrast levels when you're done as leaving them high can kill the TV.
