Big video game sale going on at Hollywood video

I'm not sure if this is happening just in my area (Seattle) or across all Hollywood Videos, but all used games regularly priced at $30 or less are currently ALL for just $5. If there are a few decent games that you have been holding out for a good sale to get, this is it!

I am not in america , but if any one willing to buy some Wii/360 games , I will pay for the games and give him a $10 for his "work"

Yeah, it's nation-wide. I got $160 worth of games for $40. Granted, the only one I wanted was MMX:Command Mission for the Gamecube, but it's hard to turn down a game for $5. They could make great gifts... or trade-in fodder for KOFXII.

Is this recent or has this been going on for a while.

I went to my local HV and they dont have alot. Ill try again but im not going to be grief stricken if they dont have anything.

Besides, im waiting till this store goes out of business so i can buy up all the video game/anime shwag they have there. Fatal Fury the movie and all of GitS: Stand Alone Complex, i cant pass that up...

Are we talking about HV or Game Crazy? I didn't think HV sold video games...only Game Crazy.

Not all HV's have a stand alone gamecrazy, so they rent/sell videogames.

All the Hollywood Video stores went out of business around me. All the good stuff gets bought up before the prices go down much. It's hard to get a good deal on anything decent. Just like when Circuit City bit the big one...

I'm not talking about Game Crazy. The sale just started this week, but last week was a buy one get one free, so the selection already thinned out a bit from that. I haven't been to a Hollywood Video with a Game Crazy this week, so I don't know if they are doing the sale there too. However, a lot of Game Crazy's have recently been clearing out PS2, XBox, & Gamecube games on 3 for $10 racks.
