Hello ladies and gents, newbie here just giving a little info on me. My name is Chris, I am 27, have a 3 year old son named Brayden (can't wait till hes old enough to game 
), I live in Pittsburgh and have more hobbies than I can count... lol. Gaming is definitely one of the bigger ones, but not the biggest. *don't hate me* 
It takes 2nd place to road racing, I am really into motorcycles. Just behind gaming, in 3rd place would be Martial arts. That is what I do for a living, I am an instructor.
I do a lot of other things to occupy my time including a lot of mechanical and electrical tinkering. From working on my bike and cars to computers to sound systems. I like making things or fixing them. My next project will be modding my Sega Saturn. I hope I don't break it... haha
Recently I started missing some of my older Saturn games and stumbled across this site. Tons of info, well put together and just plain awesome. Props to racketboy.

Hey everyone, I figured that since I joined over a week ago and have been making posts that I should actually introduce myself instead of being some mysterious forum lurker 
My name is Jordan... yea who would've thunk? I'm 22 and am going to be getting married in a little less than a month. Luckily my significant other supports my video gaming/collecting hobby so there will be no mass selling. I am an IT technician and enjoy building/maintaining my own PC. I actually came to this site because I was trying to find the best old school games to download and play on an emulator. After being here for a bit and reading the forums it inspired me to pull my old consoles/games out of the closet and hook them back up 
Video-game wise I grew up on the NES as a young kid. I would spend hours watching older kids play learning how they would handle situations and then incorporate that into my game play. I went around my neighborhood collecting aluminum cans and eventually saved up $150 to buy my NES. Moving on after the NES I somehow ended up getting both the SNES and Genesis (honestly don't remember how). I then followed the N64, Gamecube, Wii route (while having the PC for many other games). I would say that the gametypes I excel at are FPS and platforming; however I am also generally competitive at all genres and can learn how to play/get up to speed in a game pretty quickly.
My "collection" is actually just the games I have purchased over the years; I have gone back and bought about 5-10 games for both the N64 and Gamecube but that's it. Right now I am looking at my first old school purchase, I'll let you guys know how that goes. Sometime I'll also have to put up pics of my collection which is scattered around at the moment... and since everyone seems to like TMNT action figures I can try and find what box they are stored away in
