Have You Ever Been In a Car/Bike Crash???

I ask because I was just in a crash with my bike.

I swerved to avoid a car and went into a turn. When I went into the turn, a little yippy dog jumped out into the road and I slammed on my breaks so as not to run it over. I flipped over my handlebars and am now covered in cuts and I think I may have broke my leg. X( So share your experiences in the field!

(Oh, and note this is two days before I leave for my big 1 1/2 week camping trip, lol)

when i was about 13 i was riding my bike to go get my sister from school and i took a corner too fast and went into the street. then a big suv was heading straight for me so i swerved to get out of the street, hit the curb, i hit my nuts on the frame of the bike, then flew off onto the sidewalk where i layed for about 15 minutes trying to breathe cuz i had never had such impact on my balls before. it sucked. and it bent my front tire.

When I was like 10 I received my first trick bike and I was so stoked. I was riding down a hill trying to do wheelies and I wasn't paying attention and I smacked into a stop sign. OUCH! 2 days after wards my bike was stolen.

check out my crash. I actually was riding my friends bike and started throwing the bike and trying to smash the shit out of it when I got up.
my friend adam had just been in town was riding the same bike and just fell off and skinned his knee so bad you could see bone.

we are going to totally fuck that bike up next time hes in town

Coincidence! I was just in my first car accident less than a week ago. It wasn't anything too serious though. I was on my way to work, in my work car (thank goodness) when a forklift from a paving company reversed right into me. The guy seemed to have tunnel vision and no hearing, as he ignored my 50 honks and didn't once look behind him while he was reversing the 30 odd feet before ramming into me. I got out and gave him the "what the fuck was that?" look. He tried to play it off like I shouldn't have been there, blaming me for the accident. It was obvious he felt like an idiot and was trying to defend his actions. I told him I would need his insurance information and that's when he lost it, telling me "you're not getting SHIT from me!!" over and over. I reminded him that his company name is plastered all around, and that I could call his boss, and the people that were contracting the work from their company and tell them what happened. I also reminded him that he was lucky it was me and not some little kid. When he still refused to give me information I got out my cell and began to call the police. That's when he finally came to his senses and gave me his information while promising to pay for the damages if we left insurance out of it. App. $1000 later and the car is fixed up now. There wasn't too much damage at least to my eyes anyway, aside from aesthetics.
