Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I just bought Baseball, Speedway/Spinout/Cryptologic, and two copies of Bowling/Basketball on eBay for 4.99 + 3.99 shipping.
Finally I'll have some games to go with my Odyssey2, and the collection begins...
Also yesterday:
Dexter's Laboratory: Robot Rampage (Game Boy Color) - it was 2.50, so I said eh might as well, considering the initial pricetag was 10.00 at GameStop. Clearance rules.
Donkey Kong Land trilogy (Game Boy) - got all three carts for 25 dollars total. Awesome, I've been wanting them for a while.
Cyber Troopers: Virtual On (Saturn - JPN IMPORT) - My second JPN Saturn game, 7.99 complete. Been wanting to play Virtual On for a loooong time.

Dang. I need to go to garage sales in your area. The only NES games I find are SMB/Duck Hunt, much less anything complete.

How do you even find all these garage sales? Just drive around or what? lol

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
So in the classifieds section of the newspaper you look at the list of yard sales. Do you look at ones that mention videogames or electronics, or do you kind of avoid those because those are the ones that might have an idea of the value of the stuff. I notice everything you find is ridiculously underpriced.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I hit every one in the paper lol. The more you hit the better luck you can have, but you have to get an early start. I usually start at about 630 am, and if you don't see any game stuff out, always ask "hey do you happen to have any video game stuff" and 79% of the time they will go inside and bring stuff out that they didn't realize would sell at a yard sale. here is a tip, Older people may have their grand kids crap that they have accidently left there and now the kids are grown. In this case ask for Video game "tapes" for some reason older people think that.
