Probably an even worse question (I think), but I actually want to play this on my Nintendo Wii, I downloaded the files unzipped them, do I have to burn them to a disc to play them? . . .

The Wii can't read CDs; only DVDs.

Now go buy a real copy.

Yep - what he said.
My FTP account with the unaltered CD image file of Rondo Of Blood is strictly for research and development of Metroidvania fanmade games and not to be used for any other purpose such as playing or enjoying the best 2D castlevania game ever to exist which now has an unreasonable price tag simply because it's for a system that is no longer supported by it's makers and the CD has been out of print for many years so now it can only be played by people in north america legaly in an easily purchasable way by buying a copy of of the PSP game Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles - playing through the game until you get to stage 4 and after some aerobatics and bombing a wall and stuff you'll find a candle and then if you squint your eyes to see the badly scaled graphics on a 2 1/4" display with some unsync'd sound you can finally almost play Rondo of Blood.
Do not download this game for the purposes of playing and enjoying it. It's for hardcore collectors only.

I got my copy for just under $40. It was cheap because the instruction manual had two small creases where the tabs on the inside of the CD case are. I had to look for the defects. I also have a legally purchased copy on the Virtual Console. Still, I don't really blame you for playing it any way you can. It is tough to find for a decent price if you don't live in Japan. Even if you do live here, you usually have to wait quite a while to find an affordable copy.

In my opinion, this is the second best Castlevania game ever to exist. Symphony of the Night is still better. :P

Yikes! For all of those cheap morons trying to steal a copy of Rondo, it is now on its way to the American Wii Virtual Console and likely to the EU VC eventually (in addition to having been on the PSP for years now). There is almost NO EXCUSE to copy the real thing except for back-up purposes. If you're backing it up, then you already own a SCD copy.

Anapan, why not just edit the username and password out of your earlier post in this thread? Give it only to people who PM you for it. Change the password if necessary.

Removed links and the password data because of the upcoming USA release, and since you asked. Id rather not delete the topic out right.

I'd rather not as the Castlevania roms are just a tertiary part of the account. It's main function which it's mostly used for is materials for making homebrew castlevania games. An archive of my teams work up to the point it died years ago. It still gets used quite often for it's main function. If necessary I'll just remove the files that are getting newfound unwanted attention to another account.

edit: That'll do. Thanks.
