That's not unreasonable. It was a mainstream console, it was the predecessor to the Genesis, one of the most successful consoles at the time (half the market). There's only one person to blame.

If my Saturn weren't dead, I'd still be using it. As it stands, I'm just waiting 'til I find it for real cheap at a flea market or something. I used to play it constantly, and I first got my Saturn after I got a Wii. My collection of Saturn games dwarfs my PS1, N64 and Dreamcast collections combined.

Honestly, though, I thought we all agreed that the Saturn tanked pretty hard in the US? The fact that it has a lot of good stuff (and a lot more good stuff you have to import) doesn't change that fact.

I understand that perfectly. Pretty much everything after the Genesis tanked. I can't say anything though because I didn't own a saturn when they first came out, so...

I'd honestly say that if you get a Saturn and don't plan to import games for it, then it really isn't worth getting a Saturn. In my collection, imports outnumber domestics about 5 to 1.

But yeah, there is no denying that the Saturn tanked. A victim to the trend of "3D is better", regardless of how primitive looking it was at the time.

I'll agree with that. While I got a lot of US released games when I bought mine, the majority of those I've actually sought out on my own have been imports. Though I suppose I should say I was lucky enough to get to play a Saturn when it was first released domestically, as a good friend of mine had gotten one, so we played Virtua Cop.
