Grid on sale for $15 on Steam. Best racer out there.

I've preached it a few times in the past but it's the truth. I hate racing games, but love this. Have been waiting for a sale for months. Great port, runs perfectly, looks better than anything else out there, great audio and music all around, the best car damage system ever, online play matchmaking just plain works (unlike many other console to PC ports, like the recent abomination, Street Fighter 4), online ranking and stats, etc. $15 is a no-brainer. Works great with a 360 pad. I just easily got in a destruction derby match online with 12 people and saw unparalleled carnage. Fucking amazing. Cars barrel rolling and shit through the air. And this is just one of many modes.

My one gripe is there's no saving of replays. Really sucks when crazy things happen online and you want to save them.



So if you have a capable PC, buy this immediately. I don't care if you hate racing games. That is not an excuse.

Which modes did you play? Did you use a 360 pad? I have to say, I hate the drift battles, and I hate a few of the europe tracks very much. And obviously there's a good 40% of the cars that completely remove the fun by being unusable unless you're some fucking car expert I guess. They all handle so differently. As far as the traditional races go, the Japan harbors are a complete blast.

On a 360 just doing some Circuit races and Destruction Derby. Its just not my style of racing game.

Now Trackmania United. Thats a PC racing game that just works.

I hated Grid at first to but it just takes alot of practice once your good at it you'll have loads of fun. I still haven't finished le mans

As did I. I think about 4 races in I really felt the groove of it. Le Mans is honestly bullshit though. I doubt I'll ever enjoy those. I just skip them each time though. You miss out on one of the best songs in the game being played, but oh well.
