Are you familiar with Steel Battalion?
Same game, but it was LONG before Steel Battalion was a twinkle in someone's eye. When the controller came out people were quick to adapt it to Mechwarrior.

Meh, should have kneecapped him, gone for the missile barrage, and then jump-jetted out of there.
Seriously though, awesome. Though I suppose I'd also like to see mods made like in the older games so I can play infantry. You have no idea what a rush it is to drop one of those suckers while you're a little guy on the ground who dies in one hit.
