Sega Saturn - Virtual On "Netlink" matches!!!

Post by wip3outguy7 »

I stumbled on to this yesterday. This is amazing! I have a feeling this is the only footage of its kind in existence. Bravo to whomever preserved this!

Same. I watched the footage before reading the description and was mubling, "damn, these guys have to be using sticks." I was shocked to find they were using pads.

Man, I've got the Saturn modem here and nothing to do with it. It was going for 90 yen. I'm just waiting for the day someone finds a way to hook one of those things up to your cell phone.

I've always felt that the Saturn pad can do just as good a job as the sticks. On the Dreamcast there's no comparison; sticks win. But with the pad you've got everything you need. Shoulders are rotate or hit both for crouch, and on the face you have left, right, center, two turbos, and a jump. You can access everything just as quickly as with sticks, and you don't have to worry about accidentally jumping when you're trying to move from strafe left to strafe right.
