I am looking for the little ribbon cable that came with the Viper Extreme for the USB adapter. Mine got lost and now I need to flash a new bios. I can't flash because I flashed it already with GCoS because everyone said it was great, and I don't really like it as much as Cobra. Now I cannot find a way to get the Cobra bios back. If anyone has a cable or a suggestion for me on how to flash it without the USB adapter let me know.
Thanks!

You could try flashing via DVD. I haven't done it this way but supposedly it's possible.
You could google for a company that sells replacement cables. Send them a picture of the cable (find a picture somewhere) and a picture of the board connector and let them identify the right cable for you.

Yea, you can't flash via dvd with GCoS bios installed. .vgc files are not allowed. I already googled for the cable and had no luck. Oh well I will keep looking thanks.gtmtnbiker wrote:You could try flashing via DVD. I haven't done it this way but supposedly it's possible.

In case it wasn't clear, I'm suggesting that you contact a company like:
http://www.hello-cables.com/ribbon-cabl ... blies.html
http://www.digikey.com
and seeing if they can identify the cable for you from photos.
