Do you think Sony will ever pull ahead this generation?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I don't think it has to do with popularity...Make the leading SKU, and then port it as cheaply and as fast as possible.
isn't it the "leading SKU" because of popularity?

I haven't played the first one. . . but where the hell is a new Jak game?!

That's the push I need. Along with a price drop. And a slim version.

$299 Slim PS3 Jak 4 bundle. That's my requirement for pulling the trigger.

I am not saying the graphics are bad
I am saying is there really that huge of difference between this and other 360 games?
I have a rule, if I can't tell the difference it doesn't matter.

It looks amazing, but so does other 360 games

no I think it has to do with ease of development.

Mirror's Edge and Assasin Creed had their leading SKU on the PS3

Yeah, the devs pick a platform for various reasons (development costs, install base, etc), code up the game for that, then make the necessary changes to port it to the other platform.

I know at E3, Uncharted 2 had me practically cake my pants. I didn't see anything at Microsoft's dealie that had me on the edge of my seat the way Uncharted 2 did. The only thing I saw at Microsoft's conference that even began to peak my interest was that side-scrolling Sci-Fi Metroidvania game they showed off. I honestly do think Uncharted 2 looks a lot better than anything I've seen on the 360, but that's an opinion - it's can't be proven.

Also, while a lot of people (Activision) have been decrying PS3 as a money sink-hole, not all of them have had the same thoughts. In fact, a very powerful company has said that PS3 was their most profitable system. http://kotaku.com/5030788/ps3-now-eas-s ... ead+winner

I think this is going to mean a lot more support from this giant, and that very well could be the reason Valve is looking for PS3 devs. (After all, L4D is being distributed through EA.)

Yeah, Rockstar is developing an exclusive for the PS3. It's not like they're known for losing money.
