ARCADE CABINET INFO

Post by brycester »

I am going to be picking up a couple arcade cabinets in the next week and was hoping someone was a cabinet guru or had a site I could go to research.

X-men witch is stuck in an older junk cabinet. Nhl open ice witch is in a 4 player konami cab so hoping to stick x-men in there.

So the Open Ice cab is not a original Midway cab? Should be no prob. Is the X-men the 4 player version? Both use JAMMA but I dunno about the player 3 and 4 harness off hand, but you should be able to pull it from the "junk" X-men cab.

Welcome to the adict...er...club.

Here is what you need though:

I like http://forums.arcade-museum.com/

The people there are usually pretty helpful with repair issues and helped me when I was starting out with arcades and didn't know anything.

I'd personally think about keeping the Open Ice in the 4 player cab, just because it will have a lot more replay value than X-Men which is pretty much just a quarter eater.
