what is with people and starving children?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

He's looking at it as an investment. And considering his website has to do with game prices, I think he's trying to use it as a marketing tool as well.

It may just pay off for him. Worst case is that he's about break even if he'd try selling it again.

But personally, I wouldn't want that much tied up in a little piece of plastic and PCB.

he's already gotten an offer for $20,000... he talks about it on vgpc, that's not a stupid purchase if you ask me.

Like, for a serious collector, I can understand where he's coming from. But in the blog when he mentioned "holding his new born baby" I was like ooooh man. That sort of made it like ehhhh what the fuck...

he also commented on that because someone else said the same thing... this is from jj on his site in response to hersui "Hersui - Thank you for your concern for my new born baby. I guarantee you that my baby brings infinitely more joy to my life than this game does. I didn't post a blog article on this site about my beautiful baby boy though because I don't think many gamers would care that much."

Well I said that because I thought about the baby, but then again I do not know one thing about his man's financial situation, so I guess it's not for me to say.

Okay and if you all really want to ease your minds about charity over his purchase:
