Flourescent PlayStation Lamp

Post by (-_-) »

Someone on craigslist had a post about a playstation lamp for 5$. I was curious so I clicked on it to see what it was. It was difficult to tell what it was but I emailed the seller anyway. I now have an awesome PlayStation logo lamp. Anyone ever seen this being used anywhere before? I've never seen one like this before. It's like a foot by foot square, four or more inches thick, and fairly heavy. It's too big to hang so I'm not sure where it was meant to be placed.

I would say it looks like a store display. But your last sentence makes me thinks other wise, how heavy is it?

It's an old display that was either placed on the foor by the front window, on a shelf, or hung from a chain.

Anyhow I want it!

I think those old floor displays are just about the coolest game stuff that doesn't plug into a TV.

nice,
Theres a game store nearby that has a bunch of those old lights. For Dreamcast, N64, etc
They're not selling them unfortunately.

Good find

It's around 7 pounds. I suppose it just sat in a store window at some point.

Damn that logo looked so cool/futuristic/revolutionary back in the days when Snes and Genesis were the top consoles.

The might be a custom job?
