A question for the skinny puppy fans

Post by Arbitern1 »

Ok i was just wondering if anyone else was unimpressed with puppies latest studio works.I mean SP will have a special place in my heart, but ever since goettel died they just seemed to have lost their identity. The two newest albums are decent enough, but don't come anywhere near too dark park,VIVIsectVI,Last Rights, or Bites.I am a rather young SP at 16 years of age,but i wanted to get the opinion of other somewhat older fans. They can still put on a hell of a live show tho .I am happy tho because i just completed my SP vinyl collection consisting all of their studio albums and singles. :D :D

lordofduct is the biggest fan ever but since he's both "Retired" from the forums and out of state, he will be no use to us.

I thought Mythmaker was pretty tame, but Greater Wrong of the Right was phenomenal. I really liked the new directions they went to in that album. Not that the old works aren't great, but I didn't feel let down in the slightest with Greater Wrong of the Right like some other Skinny Puppy fans did. But then, Skinny Puppy fans seem prone to disappointment. Most people I know that have followed them for years have complained about nearly every new release after VIVISect VI.
