How many carts do you have?

Post by wclem »

I am wondering how many carts people have:

NES - 152
SNES - 55
Genesis - 160
N64 - 15
Atari 2600 - about 50 now with more on the way.

Also is anyone currently trying to complete a set?

I really thought mine was kind of small. I figured there would be some with 500 plus carts of a single system.

83 Atari carts, wow, that must be your favorite system!

I bought 63 all in one day because they were $1 each at the flea market. He's raised the price to $3 each since then lol.

1 buck each is about the going rate around here. Though I have been getting them in lots lately. I picked up 30 one day for 3 bucks.

And to Reagan, damn - I wish I had your NES cart collection!!

Haven't counted lately but I'll give a general guess:

Genesis - 40-45, maybe 5-10 are unboxed.
SNES - 15
NES - 15-20
32X - 8
Master System - 15
Gameboy - 7-8
Game Gear - 7-8
Virtual Boy - 4
2600 - 2

53 famicom, 203 nes to be exact. thanks, i put a lot of time and effort into amassing all of those. i feel i have pretty much all of the top-quality nes titles, with exception of most of the super expensive 'holy grail'-type games like bonk's adventure, snow brothers, contra force, etc. i've since switched my focus to famicom.
