I frequently see Laseractives for $1,000 and up on Ebay. I'd buy that deal as soon as possible.

Really? Any links?

They're on sale in Tokyo for something like $600, which the Sega/PC Engine modules going for a few hundred just on their own. I'm not 100% sure on the prices, but it does sell for A LOT.Funk, E wrote:Really? Any links?

Yeah, I got it. Everything works great. It came with a Mega-LD game too... I looked on eBay, and the game alone would run me $75 for a japanese import if I bought one out of an eBay store. I've already watched Flash Gordon, Forrest Gump, and Stargate since Friday (that's when I got it, haven't had the time to get on since then). The seller had said that the Sega pack had some issues, but the thing works great, her two games were just dirty (oh yeah, I got Mortal Kombat and Super High Impact genesis carts too).
I'm torn between keeping it and selling it. I like it a lot, but I could certainly live with selling it if the right buyer came along.

Rocket Coaster. I doubt it's actually worth $75, but I don't see too many people starting auctions with a low starting bid.
As to the prices some people have stated on here.... it's by no means a $1000 or even $600 machine here in the US, but I'm sure it's worth well over what I paid for it. If somebody offered me that much I'd take it in a heartbeat. A sega PAC sold for $30 on eBay a little while ago, though the NES PAC is still worth a chunk of change.

Yeah it is worth a lot, I collect LD here and there when I see something I like, and these rarely go for under $700 (not that I've ever even had the chance to see one in person) for the player alone. You got a steal of epic proportions as evidenced by this:
