What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

They also played the "New Moon" trailer. I admit that the Twilight series is pretty interesting, but I absolutely HATE the fangirls. Luckily, none of those demonic creatures saw the trailer, though I desperate wanted to scream at them and tell them to shut the fuck up.

Anyone hear of the live-action Blood: The Last Vampire movie being released on the 10th?
I liked transformers too, it was just fun. Don't know what people are expecting of a gazillion dollar budget summer blockbuster movie, its just like the wii.

I saw the trailer for blood a couple of months ago, but I haven't seen the series blood+ yet hope there is no tie in with it.

It was funny to me when I read reviews of Transformers 2 saying it just a big action, special effects fest with no real story to it. I thought, "yeah, so was the first one. Apparently, you very same reviewers all liked that one. You expected something different from Michael Bay?"

And on that note, classic South Park moment:

Just watched Cloverfield for the first time. Pretty cool take on the monster movie genre. Seems like I heard bad things about it when it came out, but I really enjoyed it. I liked the way it played up Godzilla, Aliens and 9/11.

How was it? I've heard good, great, better than the original, not as good as the original, and so on. I'm curious now.

Public enemies. Not Michael Mann's best but definitely not his worst. I would give it a 5-6/10. I also didn't like the use of HD film.
