The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Well Japan is the tech capital of the world, not mention has some of the best games America will never see. So pardon my lack of sympathy.

Why not just buy a cheap used one from Hard-Off or someplace? Have one PSP on 1.00 firmware, and the other on newer firmware. I've seen the PSP-1000s going for 5000yen occasionally.hashiriya1 wrote:superlarz wrote:Why do you want a PSPgo so bad?
You also realize you can upgrade your original firmware and still run all of the emulators and stuff, as well as the current releases. It isnt that hard to do, esp since you are running original firmware
I just think the PSP GO looks cool! Hehe. I know there are custom firmwares, but I am a total idiot when it comes to do those things. I have no idea how to do stuff like that...and I am kinda attached to having a PSP with V1.00 firmware. It's not a big deal in the gaming world, but it is still rare.

You'd think that, but try living here. It's FAR from being the tech capital of the world. It definitely produces some of the best technology in the world. In that aspect, it's the tech capital of the world. Living here is a completely different story. They're still in the 1970s/80s just about everywhere except store shelves and toilet seats.corn619 wrote:Well Japan is the tech capital of the world...

Every time I see a kotstsu in anime I remember that.
However when talking about videogames Japan has much more offer around.

People complain about Sony dropping the ball back home, but I feel like Japan isn't getting even a third of the cool PS3 stuff America's gotten. I mean, how could they not release Mega Man 9?
My game-related blog.

I wouldn't feel too bad, a modded regular PSP can do way more than a PSP Go anyways.

If I don't get the PSPgo, then I will only be satisified with a Crisis Core Version PSP or a Dissidia version PSP (Yeah, I know, it's a 3000). To match my PORTER YOSHIDA Dissidia PSP case. Yes, I am a brand whore. All my bags, wallets, luggage, etc is PORTER (Yoshida Kaban). For those who don't know, PORTER is Japan's snooty brand. All their products are made in Japan.
What an 10,000 yen PSP case looks like. (I also have the PORTER DS Lite case!)
