Trying to start collecting
I've been into retro gaming for awhile now, but never considered myself much of a collector. But I decided that I'm going to give it a shot and am going to start off with the Gamecube. Are there any games for it I should pick up now before they become hard to find/exceptionally expensive?

Re: Trying to start collecting
I've noticed in the past year that used GC game prices are going up, I think due to the popularity of the Wii. Just saying.

Agreed, wait till GS/EB starts really getting ride of their GC stock then go in with a huge bit. My suggestion is to go collecting the oXbox games there on the cheap ...noiseredux wrote:I've noticed in the past year that used GC game prices are going up, I think due to the popularity of the Wii. I'd sorta give a vote to PSX games. Systems like that, that were the height of popularity, means that there are tons of games produced. So you have an incredible variety. 3D action, 2D platformers, Shooters, RPGs, LIght Gun Games, etc. Can be had for reasonable prices as well.

Personally, Xbox games are going for dirt cheap, and GC's on the rise. PS2 games are dropping, and in some places they're going for next to nothing.

Definitely, us at GS are gonna start hacking GCN games below the rock bottom prices they're already at in a bit when we fully begin the phase out process.h8b1llg8ts wrote:Agreed, wait till GS/EB starts really getting ride of their GC stock then go in with a huge bit. That's why I'm waiting for the Mario Parties and Mario sports price to become a little more easier to digest. Also, why is Kirby Air Ride not listed on the website?Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Definitely, us at GS are gonna start hacking GCN games below the rock bottom prices they're already at in a bit when we fully begin the phase out process.h8b1llg8ts wrote:Agreed, wait till GS/EB starts really getting ride of their GC stock then go in with a huge bit.
