I would try http://www.shopgoodwill.com you can get a great deal on old consoles and games if look often. I just got a mint black Nintendo 64 with Yoshis Safari, Starfox 64, Mario Party, Jet Force Gemini, Kirby 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Gauntlet Legends, Starwars Racer and 2 Memory Cards for $50.00 shipped a few weeks ago from there. So I'd say its worth checking out.

Definitely try out Panic! You may absolutely despise it, but no one can ever argue that it has been done before. :)

I have to admit that the Sega CD is one of my favorite, most underrated consoles ever. Here's my top games list:

Panic is one of the strangest games I've ever played, but its originality and humor make it well worth checking out. Aside from the other top games that have already been mentioned, I must admit that I always loved Silpheed, even though the gameplay could have been deeper. A fantastic demonstration of how the Sega CD hardware could be harnessed.
