Ah cool, it has Trizeal and Exzeal on it, then that should be all I need. Shallowgamer, are you enjoying all your import titles? What on the list are you lacking, if any? I purchased a 22 inch HP monitor that can pivot lengthwise. It has an HDMI port on it, and I just keep my Japanese 360 hooked up to it for playing my shooters in full TATE mode. I never saw the big deal about it until I had the equipment to play the games that way for myself. It has honestly improved my skills having a larger playing field. I can see bullets easier and not get as lost in all the action going on during gameplay. I have also found that if I play DoDonPachi Black Label Extra first during a playing session, and work on practicing that, then play Raiden IV second, I do a lot better with the latter's bullet patterns because they are not as intense as DoDonPachi's.
By the way, has anyone found a listing of the Acheivements for DoDonPachi Black Label Extra that are translated to english anywhere online yet? If I knew what I was going for in that game, it might make it a bit easier to strive towards certain goals. The Raiden IV Acheivements are available on a couple forums online in english. If anyone has that game and needs a link, just let me know.

Re: Japan Xbox 360 Shooter Checklist
I'm currently playing on a 52" LCD, so technically the playing field is a little over 2 feet long vertically. That's more than enough for me, though I would love to see someone Tate a 52"!!
Dodonpachi and shooting love are still sitting on my desk, because I'm lame and did my taxes instead of play.
I'm currently enjoying the hell out of Raiden Fighters Aces. And Otomedius G for the easy points
Just pre-ordered Death Smiles with the $5 coupon that came with Dodonpachi. And I'll preorder Ketsui with the $5 coupon that comes with Death Smiles... looks like they've got a nice business strategy going...

Re: Japan Xbox 360 Shooter Checklist
I only have a single Achievement on Otomedius. Seeing as the game obviously isn't my favorite, could you give me a quick rundown of what unlocks each achievement so I don't have to just play and hope I get them? That would be most appreciated.

Just beat the game using a different character than the one you used previously. I believe I've done this 3 times, and I'll go out on a limb here and assume that each character has its own achievement when used.. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ASSUME...
Re: Japan Xbox 360 Shooter Checklist
Add Mamonoro to the list. The Naomi game is getting a Xbox 360 port in June according to famitsu.

Thanks for the Acheivement list for Otomedius. They don't happen to have a listing up for the Dodonpachi ones yet do they? Perhaps you could link me?

Re: Japan Xbox 360 Shooter Checklist
Thanks again for the links. I now have 46/50 Achievements on Dodonpachi, due to that guide and some dilligent playing this past week. My Shooting 200X with Trizeal and Exzeal on it is my new focus, already unlocked some achievements on it, but keeping my eyes peeled for a guide for it as well.
What shooters would you guys like to see come to the 360 next?

Re: Japan Xbox 360 Shooter Checklist
Updated the list in the first post. I received Mamoro-kun (spelling?) in the mail today from Play-Asia. It is a fun shooter, kinda reminds me of the overhead levels in the old Contra games, but with more of a lean towards vertical shooter. You import 360 owners ought to give it a whirl. Any other import shooters on the horizon? Ketsui and Mushihimi-Futari are the only upcoming Import shooters not out yet that I know of. Raiden IV should hit the USA in August, right? Any others in development?
