What are you talking about!?!gradualmeltdown wrote:How is that Agetec? Good enough for shmup's? I'm kinda sick of using my Street Fighter Anniversary stick for PS2 shmups. That stick is so pretty but very mediocre parts. I like Japanese style better anyway.
The Anniversary stick uses genuine HAPP arcade parts identical to the ones found in original CPSII Street Fighter II cabinets.
I'll agree that it isn't the best stick for shmups given that HAPP's parts are very springy in nature, but that doesn't disqualify the stick as a whole.

Does anyone know if the Spawn game and the Heavy Metal game are compatible with the joystick? Someone on craigslist happens to be selling the agetec one and I would like to buy it if I can play Spawn the way I did in the arcades.

I'd buy it even if it wasn't compatible as it's a damn nice stick.(-_-) wrote:Does anyone know if the Spawn game and the Heavy Metal game are compatible with the joystick? Mmmm... I emailed him already. When I discovered the spawn game on dreamcast was the one I used to play at the Playdium in Metrotown vancouver, I got really excited. I played it and was saddened by how awful it felt to play with a controller. The agetec controller looks awesome...Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I'd buy it even if it wasn't compatible as it's a damn nice stick.(-_-) wrote:Does anyone know if the Spawn game and the Heavy Metal game are compatible with the joystick? There is one thing you have to keep in mind! It seems that the joystick only functions as the digital pad and not as the analog stick.(-_-) wrote:Mmmm... I emailed him already. I already agreed to buy it. 15$. I'm holding back from frantically testing the dreamcast games to see which games used digital/analogue only. There is one thing you have to keep in mind! It seems that the joystick only functions as the digital pad and not as the analog stick.
