No, your status does not drop.Jrecee wrote:I just heard about this whole nintendo club deal recently on ign. I've never registered any of my games or done the surveys or whatever. What I was confused about is if I have 600 points, which I believe gets you to platinum, and then I spend 300 points on some stuff, would I still be at platinum status?
Also, it's just nintendo published stuff that gets you points right? Nights and Samba de amigo didn't have the registration cards.
Also I realized it's kind of funny that Mario and Sonic at the olympic games was published by Sega but they put Mario's name first.

Re: Help me reach platinum status!
how many points is a game worth and what do you get for being a club member? This is the first I'm really hearing about this as well and I've got a bunch of Nintendo stuff.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:If you spend the coins you've earned then I believe your status does drop. Sadly it is only first party stuff that gets you points, if third party stuff qualified then I'd have hit the mark a while back instead of rushing around trying to get some points.Jrecee wrote:I just heard about this whole nintendo club deal recently on ign. I believe all games are worth something like 30 points and if you reach gold or platinum before today ends you get a free prize. Gold gets a small consolation prize, but platinum gets a big prize. For example platinum members in Japan got this as their prize:the King wrote:how many points is a game worth and what do you get for being a club member? That's pretty cool although I looked the other prizes you can "buy" with your points and none of that really interests me, so if I can hunt down any codes I'll PM them to you. Will any first party Nintendo game work, even if I bought it at launch?
