a buddy of mine was detained and intensively questioned by the Transportation Security Administration for carrying a script for an upcoming comic book about a writer who is detained and intensively questioned by the TSA for writing a comic about 'terrorism' in a police state.
Honest to god.

Unthinkable is a good book, and that is hilarious... well maybe not for him: "I was subjected to not one, but two invasive searches of my person and belongings."

man those guards are dumb. even if he WAS a terrorist, would he freaking be holding, a notebook with all their plans, inside an airport, with so much security? maybe when he imports some bombs to blow up the white house, he'll also pass them through customs

Re: stopped by TSA for irony
I get so sick of the TSA. Every time I try to fly I have to check in at the counter (can't do it online) because someone with a name similar to mine is in the no-fly list. The kicker is the person they want is a female.
Throw that on top of the fact about 90% of the time they take my bags aside and rummage through them. Maybe I just naturally look suspicious.

If I saw an anthropomorphic star walking around the airport I'd be suspicious too.DuManchu wrote:Maybe I just naturally look suspicious.

The thing is, nobody seemed to mind that I was headbutting things and swinging wildly from any pole I could find trying to get the high score before entering the plane.MrPopo wrote:If I saw an anthropomorphic star walking around the airport I'd be suspicious too.DuManchu wrote:Maybe I just naturally look suspicious.
At least you can give the TSA credit for not profiling me... lol
